Lucifer in Eden, the garden of God
When God created Lucifer long before Adam's time, he was full of wisdom and perfect in beauty and had been in Eden, the garden of God. "Every precious stone was his covering, the Sardius, Topaz, and the Diamond, the Beryl, the Onyx, and the Jasper, the Sapphire, the Emerald, and the Carbuncle, and Gold: The workmanship of your drums and your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created. You are the anointed cherub that covereth: and I have set you so: you were upon the Holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, till iniquity was found in you." ... Ezekiel 28:12b-15
Satan's first attempt to seize authority fails !
Jesus was there when Lucifer spoke his five infamous "I will" demands to be his own god. "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most high." Isaiah 14:13-14

Lucifer, the light bearer and Director of the Heavenly choir, was and is one of the most talented composers of all time, Few will deny that Satan's music is extremely well composed, orchestrated and performed.

Jesus said in the Gospels that "I saw (Lucifer) Satan fall from heaven like lightning".. Luke 10:18 (see also Isaiah 14:12-14; Jer. 4:23-36; Ezek. 28:11-17) One third of God's angels joined Satan's rebellion and were cast out of heaven with him... Revelation 12:4,9

After Lucifer fell he became "the (Dark) Prince of the power of the air".. Revelation 12:7-12. Satan and his fallen angels now operate in the atmosphere above the Earth ..Hell was originally prepared for Satan and his angels ... Matthew 25:41. ... The whole world now lies in the grip of Satan, Hell keeps enlarging herself to accommodate those who will not obey God and be saved ... Isaiah 5:14

Fallen mankind loves the music of darkness rather than the Glorious music of God's Light and generally will not come to the light of God because their evil deeds will be exposed... John 3:19 Statements from some movie scriptwriters and musicians indicate they really do get their inspiration from Satan. Their music is filled with lyrics promoting Rebellion, Disobedience to parents, Disrespect for authority, Lewdness, Sexual uncleanness, Violence, Lustful suggestions, Self-gratification, Adultery, Fornication, Murder, Suicide, Homosexuality, Idolatry, Witchcraft, Drugs, the Pride of Life, Covetousness, Extortion and Reviling people or things. They pollute the minds of young people of the entire world except for a few nations which will not permit Satan's music to be played.

Satan's second attempt to seize authority succeeds!

Satan succeeded when Adam listened to Eve and ate the forbidden fruit from the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve could eat no more of the Tree of (Eternal) Life and were expelled from the Garden of Eden. Satan assumed Adam's authority and dominion over the Earth as the god of this world Adam and his descendants were then subject to Satan. At the end of 7000 years the Tree of (Eternal) Life will be available once again in the New Heaven and the New Earth. Rev. 22:2. Jesus is presently our Bread of (Eternal) Life as well as our Well of (Eternal) Living Water. John 6:27-58

There is a coming judgement of Satan and his angels.

"God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell ( the Greek word here is "tartarus"), putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgement." (2 Peter 2:4) "And the angels which did not keep their first estate (in heaven), but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." ( Jude 1:6) In the day of judgement "the Devil that has deceived them" will be "cast into the lake of fire and brimstone; where the beast and the false prophet are and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." Rev 20:10

The need for someone to buy us back from Satan's control
We are all born children of Adam and we need to be redeemed or "bought back" from the curse of Adam and the dominion of Satan. This is why Jesus suffered the punishment of sin and died the death of a sinner (He himself was sinless) in order that we might be "born again" and become a child of God (as Adam was originally in the Garden of Eden) In Genesis 3:15 we have the promise of Jesus the Redeemer who is to be the Savior of fallen mankind and will "bruise the serpent's (Satan's) head" and restore us to God. The Redeemer's bloodline is carried forward from Seth, (the godly son of Adam and Eve), to Judah, the Tribe from which the Redeemer and Messiah, Jesus, was to come.

.2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
.3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
.5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffic hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:

   2 - Prince of Tyre Since Eden appears in the next scene of the leader of Tyre we see that this first part represents Satan's rebellion in heaven.
   2 - Heart lifted up ... I am a God The prince's problem was actually that of Satan who is described more directly beginning in verse 11.
   2 - Seat of God This was Satan's claim. He wanted the angels to follow him not Michael
   3 - Wiser than Daniel The prophet, a contemporary of Ezekiel, although a servant of God, was next to the king of Babylon. By comparison, Satan (Lucifer) was next to God.

.7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.

9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

   6 - Pretending to be God The Lord pronounces his doom.
   7 - Terrible of the nations In the scene at the end of the thousand years, Satan gathers the nations (wicked of all ages) to surround the holy city
   8 - They shall bring thee down The wicked turn on Satan when they see that they cannot conquer the New Jerusalem.
   9 - I am God Even Satan and the wicked will finally recognize the sovereignty of the creator God, although they will not repent and serve Him

   11 - King of Tyre In verse 1, Satan was pictured as a prince. As soon as Adam and Eve gave their allegiance to him in obedience, he became their king, taking the place Jesus had rightfully held. In relationship to Jesus, however, Satan was still just a prince .
   11 - King of Tyre [but Satan] Isaiah set the principle of using the name of one person or nation while actually describing them as another We know when this happens from the context.
   14 - Cherub that covereth Satan, then called Lucifer, was the closest angel to God! He covered the divine presence Although addressing Satan as the covering cherub, the Lord turns to the past tense to describe his action.
   15 - You were perfect Satan was created perfect just as were our first parents. God never forces obedience and loyalty. His government is based on love.
   17 - Corrupted wisdom The person who chooses evil eventually deceives himself. His logic becomes twisted
   18 - Defiled sanctuaries Satan's sin corrupted his areas of holiness and, when his heart was hardened, his destruction became certain.
    18 - Reduce you to ashes Satan's own sin will be the cause of his destruction.

22 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
23 For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

21 - Zidon A city on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea north of Tyre. It is now called Saida. Here it represents the enemies of God's people.
22 - Glorified God will be glorified as the defender of His people.
22 - Executed judgments this represents the final punishment of the wicked after they have surrounded the New Jerusalem at the end of the thousand years.
23 - Every side In Revelation it is pictured as fire from heaven

.24 And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.

24 - No more ... thorn agaist Israel When the wicked are finally destroyed in the second death, from which there is no resurrection, the universe will be at peace.
25 - Gathered For the final time, Israel is shown as God's true people. The wicked around the them will be judged for their sin and unrighteousness.
25 - God will be Sanctified in them Those redeemed from the grip of sin, demonstrate that Jesus the Messiah is the rightful King of Kings The Law and the Gospel are never again to be questioned.
25 - Dwell Safely At the end of the thousand years after the wicked are destroyed, the righteous again inherit the earth. The promise to Abraham and Jacob meet their final fulfillments
