Obama once was an irregularly practicing Muslim, he is now what Islamic law calls a murtadd (apostate), an ex-Muslim converted to another religion . Were he elected president of the United States, this status, clearly, would have large potential implications for his relationship with the Muslim world...He also refuses to wear the U.S. flag on his lapel (.until recently ). His wife also said that only recently was she proud to be an American.

"I said that dirty word again, Israel." This was one of the many disparaging remarks Obama's pastor Jeremiah Wright made about Israel. According to Wright, Israel is occupying Arab land and has no right to its existence. He eliminates the legitimacy of the Jewish state of Israel in one speech; then he compounds the injury by usurping the Jewish historical ties to the land.

In Barack Obama's apologia for Reverend Wright on March 18, the senator recounted his first service at Trinity church. "People began to shout, to rise from their seats and clap and cry out, a forceful wind carrying the reverend's voice up into the rafters….And in that single note &endash; hope!...I imagined the stories of ordinary black people merging with the stories of David and Goliath, Moses and Pharaoh, the Christians in the lion's den, Ezekiel's field of dry bones. Those stories &endash; of survival, and freedom, and hope &endash; became our story, my story; the blood that had spilled was our blood, the tears our tears; until this black church, on this bright day, seemed once more a vessel carrying the story of a people into future generations and into a larger world...Our trials and triumphs became at once unique and universal, black and more than black; in chronicling our journey, the stories and songs gave us a means to reclaim memories that we didn't need to feel shame about…memories." (someone forgot the more than half million whites who died in the struggle to free the Blacks)

In a campaign appearance earlier this month, Sen. Obama said, "I don't think my church is actually particularly controversial." Obama says that rather than advising him on strategy, Wright helps keep his priorities straight and his moral compass calibrated. He based his 2004 keynote speech to the Democratic National Convention on a Wright sermon called Audacity to Hope. also the inspiration for Obama's‚ second memoir, The Audacity of Hope..Though Wright and Obama do not often talk one-on-one often, the senator does check with his pastor before making any bold political moves. This represents THE CHANGE Obama talks about.

We won't truly be in an election of firsts, however, until we judge every candidate by where they stand. We won't arrive where we should be until we no longer talk about skin color or gender. Now that Barack Obama steps to the front of the Democratic field, we need to stop talking about his race, and start talking about his policies and his politics.

Some pundits are calling him the next John F. Kennedy. He's not. He's the next George McGovern. And it's time people learned the facts. Because the truth is that Mr. Obama is the single most liberal senator in the entire U.S. Senate. He is more liberal than Ted Kennedy, Bernie Sanders, or Mrs. Clinton. Never in my life have I seen a presidential frontrunner whose rhetoric is so far removed from his record. Walter Mondale promised to raise our taxes, and he lost. George McGovern promised military weakness, and he lost. Michael Dukakis promised a liberal domestic agenda, and he lost.

Yet Mr. Obama is promising all those things, and he's not behind in the polls. Why? Because the press has dealt with him as if he were in a beauty pageant.. Mr. Obama talks about getting past party, getting past red and blue, to lead the United States of America . But let's look at the more defined strokes of who he is underneath this superficial 'beauty.'

Start with national security, since the president's most important duties are as commander-in-chief. Over the summer, Mr. Obama talked about invading Pakistan, a nation armed with nuclear weapons; meeting without preconditions with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who vows to destroy Israel and create another Holocaust; and Kim Jong II, who is murdering and starving his people, but emphasized that the nuclear option was off the table against terrorists - something no president has ever taken off the table since we created nuclear weapons in the 1940s. Even Democrats who have worked in national security condemned all of those remarks. Mr. Obama is a foreign-policy novice who would put our national security at risk.

Next, consider economic policy. For all its faults, our health care system is the strongest in the world. And free trade agreements, created by Bill Clinton as well as President Bush, have made more goods more affordable so that even people of modest means can live a life that no one imagined a generation ago. Yet Mr. Obama promises to raise taxes on 'the rich.' How to fix Social Security? Raise taxes. How to fix Medicare? Raise taxes. Prescription drugs? Raise taxes. Free college? Raise taxes. Socialize medicine? Raise taxes. His solution to everything is to have government take it over. Big Brother on steroids, funded by your paycheck.

Finally, look at the social issues. Mr. Obama had the audacity to open a stadium rally by saying, 'All praise and glory to God!' but says that Christian leaders speaking for life and marriage have 'hijacked' - hijacked - Christianity. He is pro-partial birth abortion, and promises to appoint Supreme Court justices who will rule any restriction on it unconstitutional. He espouses the abortion views of Margaret Sanger, one of the early advocates of racial cleansing. His spiritual leaders endorse homosexual marriage, and he is moving in that direction. In Illinois , he refused to vote against a statewide ban - ban - on all handguns in the state. These are radical left, Hollywood , and San Francisco values, not Middle America values.

Mr. Obama could win if people don't start looking behind his veneer and flowery speeches. His vision of 'bringing America together' means saying that those who disagree with his agenda for America are hijackers or warmongers. Uniting the country means adopting his liberal agenda and abandoning any conflicting beliefs.

But right now everyone is talking about how eloquent of a speaker he is and - yes - they're talking about his race. Those should never be the factors on which we base our choice for president. Mr. Obama's radical agenda sets him far outside the American mainstream, to the left of Mrs. Clinton. It's time to talk about the real Barack Obama. In an election of firsts, let's first make sure we elect the person who is qualified to be our president in a nuclear age during a global civilizational war.

They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling.

The 2300 years TO FULFILL THE VISION OF DANIEL 8
Daniel heard the question of HOW LONG would it take for the VISION he saw in Daniel 8 to be fulfilled, or accomplished -- from beginning to end. That is, from the beginning moment when the Grecian "goat" attacked and pulverized the two-horned Persian "ram" -- till the END of the vision, when the sanctuary would be cleansed or restored, during the "TIME OF THE END" (Dan.8:17; also 8:13, and 5-7). .... The prophesied "length" or duration of this vision was to be 2300 "days" (v13). Using the "day for a year" principle, we have therefore 2300 YEARS of fulfillment.. Alexander the Great with an army of 35,000 Greeks and Macedonians, crossed the Dardanelles into Asia Minor in 334 BC and defeated the vast Persian Empire, storming across the river with fury, thus changing the history of the world from that moment, with one world empire falling, and another rising we count our time span of years from that very date. From that time on, Israel would be "trodden down by Gentiles", or under the control of foreign nations, be it the Greeks, Romans, Saracens or Turks. Beginning in 334 B.C., counting 2300 years, we come to the year 1967 A.D.

THE 2 YEARS OF JUBILEE
1917 + 50 = 1967

"And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family." (LEV 25:10 )

The year of Jubilee was marked by the fact that all the properties and possessions were given back to their original owners, Slaves would be set free; it was a time to "proclaim liberty".

When Alexander the Great, with an army of 35,000 Greeks and Macedonians, crossed the Dardanelles into Asia Minor in 334 BC and defeated the vast Persian Empire, Israel was "trodden down by Gentiles", In 1917 the Allied Forces under General Allenby delivered the city. On December 9, 1917 the Grand Muffti, the Arab leader of Jerusalem, decided to open the Eastern gate. He ordered the other gates to Jerusalem sealed to stop the approaching allied Army led by British General Allenby. Since he needed one gate open, he ordered his workers to open one gate.

As they began their work, General Allenby had his biplanes fly over Jerusalem dropping leaflets asking the Arabs to "Flee Jerusalem." The Muslims had a prophecy, stating, they would never loose the holy city, until they were asked to leave by a prophet of Allah. When the Arabs saw General Allenby's name on the leaflet, they interpreted it as meaning Allah's prophet, then they fled the city without a shot being fired. Calculating from the year 1917, the next year of Jubilee was to be 1967. Jerusalem was recaptured June 12 1967 in the Six Day war.

God's promises,, was fulfilled in the exact manner - "As birds flying" - indicated by Isaiah 31:5; in the exact year, 1917, foretold by Daniel 12:12, and on the exact day given by Haggai 2:18-20.

This astounding war occurred exactly 2300 years from the pivotal battle between Greece and Persia that began Daniel's vision of the eighth chapter. This furious battle, like its predecessor 2300 years ago, was fought against overwhelming odds, and the outcome was decided by Divine Providence. Something occurred during this battle in 1967 which proves it was the terminus of this ancient prophecy. The Jews seized the Old City of Jerusalem, historic Jerusalem, and along with it THE SACRED TEMPLE MOUNT PRECINCTS, where history shows that Solomon's Temple, and the Second Temple, were both constructed!

Winston S. and Randolph S. Churchill write: "The Wailing Wall is supposedly the last remains of the Temple, destroyed by the Roman Emperor Titus in the year 70 A.D. As he stood beside it Dayan affirmed: 'We have returned to our holiest of holy places, never to be parted from it again.' Ben-Gurion, too, when he visited the wall declared, in a voice charged with emotion: 'This is the greatest day of my life" (ibid., p.141). Churchill concludes: "Thus, by nightfall on Wednesday June 7, the Israelies had in their hands Jerusalem, the city of King David, Hebron, the city of Abraham, and all the Holy Land. Just a couple of weeks before, there were few Jews who would have believed they would see any of these places in their lifetime. For Jews the world over but particularly for those who had come to make their homes in Israel, this was the fulfillment of a hope of centuries" .... . Is this astonishing victory for Israel in 1967 significant? A nation of 2 1/2 million put to rout the armies and military forces of Arab nations with a combined population of over 40 million. This was "a staggering achievement," in the words of Winston S. and Randolph S. Churchill. Colin Legum in The Observor called the Israeli victory "a miracle of arms" He added that one of Israel's leading soldier-politicians remarked: "The only analogy I can think of is if Britain had found herself in occupation of Berlin just three days after Dunkirk. The suddenness of the transformation from a situation of acute danger to unparalleled victory is too much for any people to absorb. It will take time to get over it" ....

SIGNS OF THE RAPTURE
On June 27 three laws were passed through the Knesset annexing the Old City of Jerusalem and reuniting it with the New City on the next day. Was this amazing Six Day War significant in relation to Biblical prophecy? You bet it was! Don't let anybody tell you differently! Since this prophecy was to relate to the "time of the end," this means that 1967 is a bellweather year -- a benchmark year that signifies the Biblical "time of the end." In other words, the FINAL GENERATION of this present world began in 1967. .... Jesus said "Verily I say unto you, This generation ( that sees the Jews recapture Jerusalem) shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled." in Luke 21:32

. Forty years in Scripture normally represents the length of a generation. ( Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) Hebrews 3:8-11 ....After fasting for 40 days Jesus defeats Satan's attempts to get his worship....... God has it rain for 40 days and earth is made as new after the flood...... The Israelites wandered 40 years before getting a "new" land contract...... Moses was with God 40 days before announcing a New Age of Law..... Nineveh would have been destroyed after 40 days if they had not had a SPIRITUAL transformation...... Jesus was proclaiming a new Kingdom Age for 40 days after His resurrection. ... What will happen 40 years after Jerusalem was again owned by Israel in 1967 ? .... Basically people want to know when bad things (like the end of the world) will happen so they can prepare for them. That may be why Jesus does not give us very much information on the matter.

The re-capturing of Jerusalem in 1967 as PREDICTED BY JESUS is "THE SIGN"..... When the Rapture happens there may be celebrations in the streets by Homosexuals, Lesbians, Abortiomists, Adulterers, Liberals. Atheists and a billion Arab Islamics around the world shouting "Free at last " Now free to do as they please without hindrance from Chritians and freedom to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.. All in all a time of great wonder !

     RAPTURE (the Biblical term is "caught up" or "translation") is a term used to describe the removal from the earth of all living people that have been born-again Just prior to the Tribulation, the Rapture will take place. The number that will be raptured will be far fewer than most people might think. The Bible portrays the raptured saints in heaven before the throne of God, prior to the Antichrist coming forth and the Tribulation beginning. The Scripture tells us, in the twinkling of an eye, we shall be changed and be with Jesus in the air. 1 Cor 15:51,52-WE SHALL NOT ALL SLEEP, BUT WE SHALL ALL BE CHANGED, IN A MOMENT IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE, AT THE LAST TRUMP: FOR THE TRUMPET SHALL SOUND; 1 Thes 4:16,17-AND THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST, THEN WE WHICH ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN SHALL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM IN THE CLOUDS. We may be asleep, immediately we will be with Jesus. All the unbelievers, the lukewarm Christians, and those that did not obey the Gospel will be left to face the dreadful Tribulation.

THE TRIBULATION is the worst time in history since man has been on the earth. Immediately following the Rapture, the man of sin (called the Antichrist) comes forth and assumes control of the EU. He can be expected to be very charismatic and brilliant. He confirms a 7 ywar treaty with Israel and others.

We are now living in that generation in which this will happen. Hate, murder, thefts, rape, and every imaginable form of evil will abound. During this horrible period of God's wrath, Russia, Iran, and other nations will come against Israel. One-fourth of the world's population will die. One-third of trees are burned up. All green grass is burned up. One-third of the sea will become blood. One-third of the creatures in the sea will die. One-third of the ships are destroyed. One-third of the waters become wormwood (or poisoned) Massive famines, increased earthquakes, and more diseases will happen as the birth pangs of a woman. Those left alive will have opportunities to receive Jesus through the preaching of 144,000 Jews; however, death by Islamic decapitation lies ahead for most that put their trust in Jesus, unless they renounce their faith. There will also be many false Christs and false prophets. A one-world, false religion that God calls MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH will increase. This religion has existed for hundreds of years and exists today. The nations of the world have become intoxicated with her false teachings. The temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt.

About three and a half years from the end of the Tribulation, the Antichrist (also called the beast) is killed with a wound in the head by a weapon, but his deadly wound will be healed. He will come back to life. He then declares himself to be God and moves into the temple in Jerusalem. A false prophet appears that will do great wonders. The sacrifices at the temple will be stopped. The abomination of desolation occurs. An image of the Antichrist will be set on a wing of the temple. Those that refuse to worship it will be beheaded. The elect born-again Jews now flee for their lives to a place where God will hide them and take care of them during the last three and a half years. Power is given to the Antichrist over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. All that dwell on the earth shall worship the Antichrist, whose names are not written in the Lamb's book of life. During these last three and a half years (called the Great Tribulation), world conditions will continue to worsen. A one-world system will exist. The Antichrist shall make war against the saints and will overcome them. People will be required to take the mark of the Antichrist or the number of his name (666) in or on their forehead or right hand. If they refuse, they cannot buy or sell.

Two prophets of God will appear. One of them is Elijah. Their ministry lasts 1260 days. They warn people not to take the mark or worship the image. There is no forgiveness from God afterward for those that do and they will go to the eternal lake of fire. These two witnesses have the power to shut up heaven so that it does not rain. They have the power to bring all kinds of plagues on the earth. Multitudes will be slain for the Word of God. Some type of locusts will sting men with a sting like a scorpion. It will be so bad that men will seek death and shall not find it. There will be terrible sores upon men. The rivers and fountains will become blood. Men will be scorched with great heat. Earthquakes and diseases continue to get worse and worse. Two hundred million troops will march to Israel from the east and cross the dried up Euphrates River. One-third more of the earth's population will be killed. After the 1260 days, the two prophets of God will be killed. People will rejoice, but then after three and a half days, they will arise and ascend up to heaven as others watch. Great fear falls on those that see this. Men will be so terrified that their hearts will fail, as they consider what is about to happen. Multitudes will hide in the rocks and say, "FALL ON US AND HIDE US FROM...HIM (Jesus)…FOR THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME; AND WHO SHALL BE ABLE TO STAND?"-Rev 6:16,17.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days, the Battle of Armageddon explodes. It lasts one day. The kings and armies of the earth are gathered to make war against Israel Every force of nature is likely to be unleashed at once, including killer tornadoes, hurricanes, tidal waves, lightning encircling the earth, and the biggest earthquake in mankind's history. The cities and the mountains of the world will crumble. The Bible tells that every island fled away. The mountains were not found. There is great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of 70 to l00 pounds. The earth will move out of its place. Then Jesus Christ returns as the King of kings and Lord of lords with His saints. If He had not returned exactly when He did, there should be no life left on earth. The Antichrist and false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire. Satan is chained for one thousand years, so he can deceive the nations no longer till the thousand years be fulfilled.

In Zechariah 12:2-3, God declares: "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the Earth be gathered together against it." This is an amazing prophecy not only that Jerusalem, which was then in ruins, would become a burden to the whole world, but that all of Israel's neighbors would be united against her. They have fought one another in the past. Yet today, for the first time in history, "all the people round about" are united by Islam to destroy Israel.

The real battle is between Allah, the ancient Moon god of Islam, symbolized by the crescent, and the one true God of Judaism and Christianity. There is no question of the outcome, but it will be costly for both sides: Israel's enemies will be destroyed. Exactly as foretold,.... Jerusalem is a burden to all people of the world. More than 60,000 individual votes have been cast in the UN against Israel. This tiny nation with one 1,000th of the world's population has occupied one-third of the United Nations' time -- a burden indeed!

Christians have long preached from the Bible the return of the Jews to their own land. John Owen, a leading Calvinist, wrote in the 17th century: "The Jews shall be gathered...into their homeland." This was also the opinion of the poet John Milton, of John Bunyan, Roger Williams, Oliver Cromwell, and many others. Today the Jews are back in their own land after 2,500 years of being scattered worldwide, speaking Hebrew just as King David did 3,000 years ago. No other people have returned to reestablish their own nation and language after being cast out of their land for such a period of time.

Historian David A. Rausch writes: "Jordan's King Hussein sent two of his best armored brigades to Syria. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait financially underwrote the huge cost while sending thousands of troops to fight the Israelis. Kuwait lent her British-made Lightning jets to Egypt. Libya's Muammar Qaddafi turned over forty French-made Mirage III fighters and 100 tanks. Iraqi MiG fighter jets as well as tank and infantry divisions fought on the Golan Heights, while a squadron of Iraqi Hunter jets were utilized by Egypt. Arabs predicted the extermination of the Jewish state and the 'liberation' of Palestine. . . ."

The Soviet Union blocked any UN attempt at a cease-fire and refortified the Arab forces with armaments and supplies by sea and air. It was the closest Israel ever came to being defeated. But when the war ended, the Israeli tank columns were on the outskirts of Damascus and Cairo and could have taken those cities had they not turned back. Except for a series of miracles from God, Israel would not have survived. Where was her friend, the United States? Dozens of notices were sent to the Nixon White House by America's National Security Administration (NSA) that an Arab Pearl Harbor was about to be launched against Israel. Kissinger hid at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York the day of the attack and waited another three days before convening the UN Security Council.

God said: "I will also gather all nations .into the Valley of Jehoshaphat [between Jerusalem and the Mount of Olives and will plead with [punish] them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land" (Joel 3:2).

The 1917 Balfour Declaration, the 1919 Paris Peace Conference, and the 1922 Declaration of Principles by the League of Nations all recognized that the land that had become known as "Palestine" (since the Romans renamed Israel in A.D. 135) belonged to the Jews. It was set aside to become the national homeland of the Jewish people "internationally guaranteed, and formally recognized to rest upon ancient historic connection." Of course, history ties Israel to all of "Palestine." Britain was given the mandate to see that the Jews were safely settled there. The discovery of huge reservoirs of oil under Arab lands caused Britain to keep Jewish immigrants out and let in tens of thousands of Arabs.

Just when millions of Jews desperately needed a haven to which they could flee from Nazi Germany, Britain's 1939 White Paper limited Jewish immigrants to 10,000 per year for a maximum of five years, plus an additional 25,000 "refugees" during that period-then the door to Palestine would be shut entirely to the Jews. Since the Nazis had marked for extinction 11 million Jews in Europe, the quota of 25,000 defied God and conscience. A year earlier, President Roosevelt had gathered delegates from 32 countries in Evian, France, to discuss the worsening plight of the Jews. Roosevelt made it clear that the United States would do nothing. Britain said there was no room in Palestine and it was not to be discussed. Professing their great sympathy for Europe's Jews that everyone knew were to be exterminated, the nations offered various excuses why they could do nothing to intervene. Hitler shrewdly declared, "We...are ready to put all these criminals at the disposal of these countries...even on luxury ships." When the conference ended with the Jews completely abandoned, Hitler mocked the participants: "It was recently regarded as wholly incomprehensible why Germany did not wish to preserve in its population...the Jews. yet these countries seem in no way anxious to receive them now that the opportunity offers." Thus the entire world was Hitler's partner in destroying the Jews!

The Allies steadfastly refused the repeated urgent appeals from Jewish organizations to bomb the rail lines going in and out of the extermination camps.After the war, a trickle of emaciated survivors of Hitler's death machines sought to reach "Palestine" in half-sinking ships. Some who got within sight of the land God had given to them as an everlasting inheritance (1 Chronicles 16:15-18) were driven back by the British navy and put into internment camps on Cyprus. . Britain created Jordan out of the Promised Land. The demise of the British Empire, upon which "the sun never sank", can be counted from the time Britain betrayed the Jews - one more fulfillment of the prophecy, "I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee. . ." (Genesis 12:3).
When the UN finally voted to partition Palestine on November 29, 1947 (UN Res. 181), God's "chosen people" received about 13 percent of the land that had once belonged to them! Thus Joel's prophecy was fulfilled that all nations would join to divide Israel. The only part of that prophecy remaining to be fulfilled is the judgment of the nations
Back to the The Cradle of Civilization
   The names Baghdad, Fallujah, Ramadi, Hillah, Najaf, Karbala, the Sunni Triangle, and many others are becoming commonly heard names as we are continually being fed daily broadcast news accounts about the conflict in Iraq. Many prophecy writers have long speculated about the rebuilding of ancient Babylon, and as America moved into the Euphrates River Valley to eliminate Saddam Hussein, it fueled even more speculation about the rise of Babylon. Whatever the future holds for Iraq, it should be noted that it is no mere coincidence that the climactic events of the Last Days would cycle their way back to the region where the civilization of the world began.

The Euphrates River has forever become symbolic of the propensity of mankind to serve other gods instead of Jehovah. In fact, the Bible asserts in the prophecy of The Revelation that innumerable demonic entities, four fallen angels, unclean spirits, and spirits of devils have been bound up in the great Euphrates River, in effect forming a demarcation line between the Children of God and the gods of the world. From this region, Jehovah constrained upon Abraham to leave Ur, a city of the pagan Chaldees, and embark upon a journey toward the city not made with hands. (Hebrews 11:10) These demons have been constrained at the Euphrates, and held in check for their release during the Great Tribulation era, when they will be loosed to fulfill God's judgment upon the nations of a Christ rejecting world that are under the dominion of the Great Red Dragon and his Antichrist. In effect the Euphrates River has served as a type of iron curtain or Berlin Wall in the supernatural struggle between Christianity, Judaism and the gods of other religions.

   The Euphrates that emerged from the Garden of Eden probably drew its flowing waters (life) from the vast underground reservoir that welled up to the surface by the design of God, and from there flowed out to water and preserve the garden in a pristine condition. Afterwards, with the fall of man, earth's pristine geography also fell under the curse and the paradise that was the Euphrates Valley gradually began to become a mere image of it's former glory. As the Cainitic civilization developed on the Euphrates, it tended more and more towards decadence. Later, after the flood judgment, Nimrod followed the same pattern, submitting to the spirits of devils and before long the Babel system was installed and the worship of the hosts of heaven atop a mighty tower The tower of Babel stood as the ultimate blasphemous affront to the one true God.

   Today, the world has divided itself into four spheres of influence, as measured from Jerusalem; 1.) Russia (Magog) to the north, 2.) China to the east, 3.) the Islamic Middle East and Africa to the south, and 4.) Europe to the West. America is a sphere of influence unto itself, being primarily a part of the West, but resented by all four because of its support for Israel. This is the precise lineup of nations predicted by Scripture for a horrible end-times war that will engulf the whole earth in the Armageddon scenario. The Scripture assigns a role to each of these four; Gog-Magog, the Kings of the East, the Kings of the South and the revived Roman Empire of Antichrist, who will likely control the Western Empire.  The Euphrates River Valley is becoming America's own Middle East crossroads. The Prophet Jeremiah depicted the scenario of the Euphrates River region becoming a geo-political quagmire that would explode into the era known in prophecy as the Day of the Lord. Ironically, today, America is placing all its eggs in the Iraq basket.

Jeremiah 46:10 For this is the day of the Lord God of hosts, a day of vengeance, (wrath) that he may avenge him of his adversaries: (enemies of the God of Israel) and the sword (Islam) shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord God of hosts hath a sacrifice (see Revelation 14:16-20) in the north country by the river Euphrates.

President Bush's vision for freedom and liberty is a wonderful concept, but according to the Biblical Signs of the Times, his experiment in the Middle East in an attempt to thwart the seeds of terrorism by transplanting democracy, while coercing Israel to accept a divided Israel or 2-state solution to the Palestinian question. This is a formula for bringing the curse of God upon America...... America's venture into Iraq will require America to take a fork in the road very soon! That fork may be to extend the war on terror into either Syria or Iran!

   Syria and Iran are both already preparing for war with the US. Syrian President Assad is looking to Russia for sophisticated weaponry to counter the US moves in the region. Presently, the US strategy in the war on terror has enabled the US to completely encircle Iran, (Persia in Ezekiel 38) and to dissect the direct geographical link between Teheran and Damascus. Damascus is the Capital of Islam and is the control center for the terrorist operations in the West Bank and Gaza.

The prophet Ezekiel reveals that Iran will be spared a confrontation with the great Western power until the time for the great Northern Magog-led coalition against Israel. Russia is way too smart to insert itself against the power of the US at this present time, and will likely wait for the war on terror, and for the Rapture event to take a toll on the American structure.

   These two dynamics will probably render the US as nothing more than a bit player in end-time events and likely lead to the political amalgamation of the US into the rising empire of the EU. Eventually, Russia will come down upon Israel after the emergence and revelation of the Antichrist, at a time when Israel has already entered into a false peace-safety covenant with the new Man of peace (Antichrist) that rises to the apex (Super President) of the revived Roman Empire or EU

PAVING THE WAY FOR THE COMING ANTICHRIST
The 10 nations which form the WEU or Western European Union are the first ten of the member states and the most powerful ones as well. The WEU is a ten-nation core of powerful European states in charge of maintaining Europe's military security. It controls NATO, the world's most powerful military alliance and it insists on retaining a separate identity to keep its voice from being diluted by that of the greater EU.

Javier Solana is the trusted High Representative of the revived Roman empire or European Union - If we are nearing the advent of the Antichrist and he is actively seeking a means through which to rise to greater power. Javier Solana is currently paving the way for a rise to the top of the diplomatic world through the confirmation of a seven-year covenant of peace in the Middle East by successfully advocating the Palestinians and Israelis to allow the EU to play a larger role in Middle East peacemaking while he acts as a member of the international Quartet of Russia, the United States, the United Nations, and the European Union.

The Christian church at the time of the end will be lukewarm, neither cold nor hot for Jesus..... God will spew them out. Many ministers and people that call themselves a Christian will not be going to heaven. The Bible tells us you have acquired wealth, but your true condition is wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked and you don't know it-Rev 3:14-22. This is today's church. Most preachers use little Scripture, but lots of worldly stories. Many sing a great deal, but put little emphasis on repentance, obeying, serving, and fearing God, on the fruits of the Spirit, Bible prophecy, and studying your Bible faithfully every day. Many are only entertainment centers that teach what their members want to hear. Many Christians are so lukewarm or dead, they don't even bring their Bibles with them to the house of God. Some famous ministers and Bible schools think this is the best church age ever, yet the Bible clearly shows it is the worst and most deceived.

The Bible gives us descriptions of the people at the time of the end. Here are some:

A. Some would depart from the faith and go into devil worship-1 Tim 4:1.

B. People would mock about the last days and not believe-2 Pe 3:3; Jude 18.

C. People would become lovers of themselves-2 Tim 3:1,2.

D. Children would be disobeying their parents-2 Tim 3:1,2.

E. People would be grateful for nothing-2 Tim 3:1,2.

F. Homosexuality would increase - Lk 17:28,30; ref Gen 19:5; Ro 1:24,26,27.

G. People would be without self-control in sex-2 Tim 3:1,2,6; Rev 9:21, Lk 17:28,30; Jude 7.

H. People would love pleasure more than God-2 Tim 3:1,2,4. .... Shall we go on a picnic, watch football, or sleep. Church?....we can go another time. Our American motto "In God we trust" has become a joke.

I. People would be taking drugs-Rev 9:21. The Greek word for sorceries, in Rev 9:21, means pharmaceuticals or drugs....;..... Fifty years ago, many people seldom locked their doors at night. There was little or no profanity on television, radio, or in the movies. One of the biggest problems in public school was gum chewing.

J There would be weapons that could destroy the world-Mk 13:20; Rev 6:8; Rev 9:18; Zech 14:8,12. Incredibly, this prophecy was written in the days of spears and arrows, yet today it is true. .... It is estimated that the combined nuclear arsenals of the USA and Russia (as of the year 2004) could kill every living thing on earth 6 times over.

K The Gospel must be published in all the world-Mk 13:10. This seemingly impossible prophecy was written when there was no printing press, but today it is true.... In this last generation, the Gospel is being published (or is about to be published) in the primary language of every nation of the world or "among all nations." In addition, the Gospel is available by short-wave radio nearly everywhere in the world.

L There would be a nation to the far east of Israel, to the end of the earth. This nation would have an army of 200 million. How could the Bible have told the location of a nation and given such a huge figure regarding the size of its army nearly 2000 years ago? China has boasted that they could field an army of this exact figure.

M . There would be an economic alliance of the nations of the Old Roman Empire. It would have a military capability. This is an exact description of the European Union which has adopted the one-currency system for many of their member nations. It is written, IN THE DAYS OF THESE KINGS ( which is now) SHALL THE GOD OF HEAVEN SET UP A KINGDOM-Dan 2:44.

"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded ( a Muslim practice) for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." (Revelation:20:4)

Signs of the Great Deceiver
All that are Left Behind -- be they Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, or Charismatic -- will be lost. In such an environment, the Antichrist will have no problem deceiving the whole world. While the True Holy Spirit will still be omnipresent in the world, the removal of the True Bible Believing Church (body of Christ) will bring the True Holy Spirit's restraining ministry to an end. Then the lawless one will be revealed.

Paul said, "The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing" (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10). ..The rise of the Antichrist ("lawless one") will parallel a general breakdown in religious and moral values, resulting in a decadent society that will believe "the lie" rather than the truth. Thus the Antichrist must be a convincing liar and unable to convey the Truth. We will probably not know exactly who the Antichrist is prior to the rapture. But we can certainly observe several characteristics as we near the end of the age.
Bill Clinton, a precursor or prototype of Antichrist uses Army Tanks against American citizens

On February 28, 1993, ATF agents in National Guard helicopters zoomed in on the Branch Davidians' church and home, Mount Carmel Center, they did so with guns blazing,. Bill and Hilary Clinton, Janet Reno and Democratic presidential candisate, General Wesley Clark who supplied the Army tanks, were responsible for the deaths of more than 74 men, women and children who died in the inferno, including twelve children younger than five years of age. David Koresh's unarmed father-in-law, who stood with him at the front door of the church while the unarmed Koresh begged ATF agents to back off, was killed by gunfire from ATF agents on the ground. The agents shot wildly and threw grenades at the building for more than an hour, even as Davidians called "911" to beg for a ceasefire. ATF snipers later killed one Davidian as he tried to reenter the Mount Carmel Church to join his family.

At dawn on April 19, 1993, and throughout the morning, tanks rammed holes in the main building and pumped (in the FBI's words) "massive amounts" of CS gas into the building, despite knowing that inside were more than a dozen children. The tanks demolished parts of the compound and created tunnels for the wind to blow through. The buildings at this point were saturated with inflammable CS gas and spilled kerosene. ...Around midday two U.S. military pyrotechnic devices were fired into the main building, igniting a fire which (because of the holes in the walls allowed the wind to gust through) spread rapidly through the complex of buildings and became an inferno and more than 74 men, women and children died. Fire trucks were prevented by the FBI from approaching the inferno. After the compound had burned down the ATF flag was hoisted aloft to signify 'victory'.

The local sheriff investigated and found no basis for complaints against the Branch Davidians. According to him these were law-abiding American citizens. In his April 20th news conference Bill Clinton growled that Janet Reno should not have to resign "because some religious fanatics murdered themselves." Two days later he re-asserted, "I do not think the United States government is responsible for the fact that a bunch of fanatics decided to kill themselves." Janet Reno told the House Judiciary Committee hearing that early April 20th, "The second call I got was from the president of the United States, saying, "That-a-girl"

Two years to the day after the April 19 fire, the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City, where many federal offices were housed, was bombed. 168 people died.
In 1993, President Clinton issues five executive orders regarding abortion issues. They include: 1) reversing Title 10 regulations banning abortion referral by federal employees; 2) repealing the Mexico City Policy; 3) lifting the ban on funding for fetal tissue transplants; 4) instructing military hospitals to perform abortions; and 5) asking the FDA to review the import ban on RU 486

President Clinton used the strategic use of Executive Orders to bypass Congress and the will of the American people. In violation of the Constitutional balance of powers, Mr. Clinton said he would legislate by Executive Order if Congress did not bow to his legislative agenda. "I have a continuing obligation to act, to use the authority of the presidency and the persuasive power of the podium, to advance America´s interests...," said Mr. Clinton. ..... There was no debate, no media coverage, and no vote ... just President Clinton signing into law whatever he believed "is the right thing to do." "Stroke of the pen. Law of the land. Kinda cool," said Mr. Clinton´s senior advisor Paul Begala.
In 1995 both chambers wisely passed a budget bill that allowed oil drilling in Alaska only to have President Bill Clinton veto it...The United States Geological Survey (USGS) estimates that the total amount of technically recoverable oil in the coastal plain (excluding state and native areas) is between 4.3 and 11.8 billion barrels. Today America faces a major economic crisis because of our dependance on foreign oil.
Clinton praises Iran - Feels "at home" there

Where is the country that Bill Clinton, former Democratic president of the United States, feels ideologically most at home?...Before you answer, here is the condition that such a country must fulfill: It must hold several consecutive elections that produce 70 percent majorities for liberals and progressives. ......If you thought of one of the Scandinavian countries or, perhaps, New Zealand or Canada, you are wrong.

Believe it or not, the country Bill Clinton so admires is the Islamic Republic of Iran. Here is what Clinton said at a meeting on the margins of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, just a few weeks ago: "Iran today is, in a sense, the only country where progressive ideas enjoy a vast constituency. It is there that the ideas that I subscribe to are defended by a majority."

And here is what Clinton had to say in a recent television interview with Charlie Rose: "Iran is the only country in the world that has now had six elections since the first election of President Khatami (in 1997). (It is) the only one with elections, including the United States, including Israel, including you name it, where the liberals, or the progressives, have won two-thirds to 70 percent of the vote in six elections: Two for president; two for the Parliament, the Majlis; two for the mayoralties. In every single election, the guys I identify with got two-thirds to 70 percent of the vote. There is no other country in the world I can say that about, certainly not my own."

Not surprisingly, Clinton's utterances have been seized upon by the state-controlled media in Tehran as a means of countering President George W. Bush's claim that the Islamic Republic is a tyranny that oppresses the Iranians and threatens the stability of the region. Clinton does not seem to remember images of American diplomats paraded in front of TV cameras, blindfolded, and threatened with summary execution every day. Images that did lasting damage to the good name of Iran as a civilized nation. Clinton also ignored the fact that Iranian agents in Lebanon, led by the liberal progressive Ayatollah Ali-Akbar Mohtashami, organized and carried out a string of terrorist attacks in the 1980s that cost the lives of over 300 US citizens, including 240 Marines.

In 1989 during Bill Clinton's second term as U.S. President, MAK the American CIA in Afghanistan joined with Saudi-born Osama Bin Laden's Mujahedeen (Holy Warriors.). Bin Laden became the head CIA man in charge of MAK during the Afghan War.....On September 11, 2001. shortly after Hilary Clinton became a Democratic Senator from New York. Islamic terrorists slipped in and slit the throats of unsuspecting pilots and destroyed the New York World Trade Center and part of the Pentagon. "This is an insane instance of the chickens coming home to roost," one U.S. diplomat in Pakistan told the Los Angeles Times. "

Carter praises Hamas

2007: June 23, (by Joseph Farah) During a speech to Ireland's eighth annual Forum on Human Rights, the 83-year-old former Democratic president called for recognition of one of the most vile, hateful, murderous terrorist groups in the world, Hamas, a strategic ally of both al-Qaida and Hezbollah. ... Frankly, Carter seems to be a fan of Hamas. He commended the group's "superior skills and discipline" in routing Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah faction. The U.S. is the rogue or the criminal. .... To Carter, Hamas is a victim.
